Dear Beloved,

As we move towards fall, I continue to give thanks for all the ways you share the love of Jesus. I continue to be grateful for your prayers and generosity of time, gifts, and resources offered for the Disability Justice Fair and the Accessibility Camp. Thank you for your continued prayers as Friedens UCC continues to work on being accessible to all and as we discern how we can partner and serve in the community. Here are some upcoming opportunities:  

Participate in or make a donation to the Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome.   

Continue to learn about ways our language, interactions, and facilities can be more accessible. Advocate through ARC or other similar organizations.  

Help with the sensory garden.  

And we can all pray.  

Thank you for all the ways you receive and offer God’s love!

Sarah is very grateful for the opportunity to serve with Friedens United Church of Christ. She works closely with the Christian Education Ministry Team, the Treasure Seekers Ministry Team, and the Engaging Young Adults initiative. She also works as an occupational therapist in the Center Grove Schools. Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, extended family and friends, spending time outside, and reading.
