Hi Friends of all ages! On Sunday, January 29th when we join in corporate worship, we will be exploring stories that help us remember in our hearts and minds that we are never alone. We thought it would be fun to bring this to life after worship with an opportunity that we’re calling Serenity and Sweets. You are invited to stay after the 10:30 worship experience or to join us around 11:45 to chat and offer each other support and encouragement. Sometimes life can be hurried and worried. We want to offer you a space to rest and connect – to remember that you aren’t alone. We’ll have some snacks to share. You don’t need to sign up in advance. If you have any special dietary needs, please feel free to let us know. There’s no pressure to eat at all, and if you prefer, you are welcome to bring a sack lunch if you’d like. We appreciate you and hope to connect if that would be enjoyable or helpful to you. Please feel free to invite folx to come with you. All are welcome!
On Sunday, February 5th we’ll continuing exploring this theme. After the 10:30 a.m. worship service, Lawson Roberts will be leading us in some journaling techniques that can be helpful when we are feeling alone or anxious. Lawson is studying psychology at University of Indianapolis. We appreciate her willing to share with us. Please feel free to invite folx to come with you. All are welcome!
On Sunday, February 19th everyone is welcome to stay after the 10:30 a.m. worship service to chat about the season of Lent. For some, the season of Lent is a life-long experience with special and specific practices. For others, it may come with bad memories or experiences. For others, it might just be a completely unknown thing or something that seems rather strange. We’re here to chat. Feel free to bring a sack lunch. Bread, PB, and jelly will be available for whatever combination you like if want to make a quick PBJ or PB or jelly-jelly sandwich.
