One of Friedens United Church of Christ's strengths lies in its wide variety of ministries, here at home on the south side of Indianapolis and further away from home.

Friedens also has an active youth ministry, with groups and activities for all school ages.  Activities include softball, trips and mission work, such as summer work for Habitat for Humanity and similar groups.
